경기도 광주 진새골에 위치한 닻미술관은 예술을 통한 창조성과 영성 회복을 기치로 2010년 10월 개관했습니다. 복잡한 도심에서 벗어나 자연과 함께 호흡하면서 내면적인 성찰이 이루어지는 유기적인 공간을 제안합니다. 이곳에 깃든 사람들이 예술적 체험을 함께 나눔으로써 개인의 상상력, 감성, 직관을 회복하고 참된 아름다움에 눈 떠 다시 일상으로 돌아갈 생기를 얻는 치유의 공간이 되었으면 합니다. 닻미술관은 예술을 통해 삶을 나누는 커뮤니티를 꿈꿉니다.

Datz Museum of Art opened in October of 2010 in Jinsaegol, Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, with a mission to help rejuvenate artistically creative spirits. It presents an organic space in nature where one can spend self-reflective time away from the busy city. It is our hope that those who visit will encounter true beauty and reclaim their personal imaginations, sensibilities, and perspectives to breathe anew fresh life into their daily lives. Datz Museum wishes for a community in which life is shared through art.

전시

전시공간에서는 닻프레스의 출판 컨텐츠와 함께하는 전시가 이루어집니다. 자연 속에 위치한 닻미술관은 예술을 통해 인간과 환경의 관계를 질문하며 개인의 감성과 직관을 회복시키는 성찰의 공간입니다. 매년 3-4회의 전시를 기획합니다.

워크숍 프로그램

닻미술관은 나무공방, 흙공방, 사진교실 등의 공방을 운영하고 있습니다. 작가와 함께하는 목공방, 도자공방, 사진방 등의 체험 프로그램을 통해 참여자가 풍요로운 자연환경 속에서 창작의 즐거움을 경험할 수 있습니다.

아티스트 레지던시

자연과 가까이 호흡할 수 있는 닻미술관의 아티스트 레지던시는 새로운 창작의 에너지에 집중하거나, 장소 특정적 프로젝트를 수행할 수 있는 창작의 산실로서, 닻프레스와의 협업을 통한 출판이나 전시에 참여할 수 있습니다. 특히 사진예술과 출판분야의 지속적인 국제교류를 통해 시작된 레지던시 프로그램은 국적, 종교, 성별, 학력에 관계없이 모든 국내외 예술가에게 열려있습니다.

매거진<깃>

아티스트 인터뷰 잡지 <깃>은 2010년 닻미술관 개관과 함께 창간되었습니다. 아티스트, 디자이너, 공방장인 등 시각예술분야에서 작업하는 사람들의 이야기를 담습니다. 매거진 깃은 창조적 영감을 삶 속에 구현하는 사람들의 이야기이며, 체험의 가치를 소중하게 여깁니다. 예술가의 삶에 깃든 아름다움은 세상을 움직이는 힘이 있음을 믿으며, 창조적 영감과 작가의 삶이 깃들어 있는 진정한 소통의 도구가 되고자 합니다.

Experiential Learning Programs

Datz museum offers experiential learning workshops, such as woodworking, ceramics, and photobook making for children and youth to experience the joy of creativity in nature with seasoned artists and artisans.

Artist Residency

Datz Artist Residency, which can breathe close to nature, is the cradle of creation that can focus on the energy for new creations or carry out location-specific projects, allowing artists to participate in publications or exhibitions through collaboration with the Datz Press. In particular, the residency program, which began through continuous international exchanges in photography and publishing, is open to all domestic and foreign artists regardless of nationality, religion, gender, or academic background.

Magazine "Gitz"

Magazine "Gitz" is an artist interview magazine that was launched concurrently with the opening of Datz Museum of Art in 2010. is published annually with words and stories of artists and artisans who work in the visual arts field. They are precious stories of people who bring their artistic inspiration to life through their work and invaluable experience. We believe that the beauty inherent in an artist’s life has the power to move the world, and wish for to be a tool that communicates the creative inspiration for that beauty.
